Weekly Principal Update
Greetings, RMS Community-
Our amazing Physical Education team of Mr. Colson, Ms. Llyod, and Mrs. Smith work with the RMS Adventure Leaders in 7th and 8th grade to teach them how to belay for 6th graders when they use the high ropes course in the gymnasium. This week they were able to participate during the 6th grade PE classes. I have added some pictures below.
We are heading into our last week before February break. Next week we are participating in the Career Spirit Week. The days are listed below. We are switching Thursday with Friday because Friday is our Staff vs. Student basketball game, and we want students to wear bright colors or red in support of the game.
Friday's basketball game is always a lot of fun for our RMS students and staff. 8th grade basketball players from the boys and girls teams compete against our staff team. Chorus sings the National Anthem, and the RMS Band acts as a pep band throughout the game. Our Cheer team will perform during halftime. Mr. Fortier acts as our MC while Mr. Farrington is the head ref. We look forward to the assembly!
Have a great week!
Respectfully,
Ryan Gilpatrick
