Teacher Appreciation Day
It goes without saying that our entire community is so appreciative of the hard work, dedication, and support our educators show each day to our students and families. Thank you for all that you have done throughout the year and during this time of distance learning! And a big thank you to our wonderful PTO who generously provided staff with gift cards in appreciation of all their work.
Distance Learning Highlights
We are proud to share the following highlights of our AIS distance learning in action.
- In GS Spanish, students brought transportation to life with their own mobility creations.
- The force..I mean 4th was with our young CP students on Monday as they celebrated Star Wars day.
- CE2 students worked on fruits and veggies and made some fruit salad, biologist style.
CM1 & CM2 students participated in a French Science film festival and they will be part of the jury (judges) next week.
- And our CM1 students held their own storytime for our CP students. Check out this special storytime by Carmen D., What Pet Should I Get, by Dr Seuss.

Please, check out the wonderful poster designed by our CE2 student Ella M in honor of the event.

A share from Ms. Audrey
I hope you are all healthy and happy. Today I want to share an amazing website that will delight all our little creative minds. My son Matteo drew this eagle (he has been a fan of eagles and cheetahs for a couple of years now!) when he was not even 5 yet. It was a gift for his grandparents who proudly hung it on the wall! These step-by-step projects are easy to follow and draw. It makes proud kids and parents alike! I highly recommend it. They have all sorts of drawing options. It could also be a great Mother's Day project! Have fun and please share the drawings your child has made! I can't wait to see them! Happy Mother's Day to you!
