RHS 8th Grade Parent Night

Greetings Class of 2029 students and families,

Earlier today, your EMS 8th grader had the opportunity to meet Roxbury High School Principal Mr. William Crispino, along with several members of the RHS Administrative and Counseling teams. As a follow-up to today's program, you are cordially invited to attend our annual 8th Grade Parent Night at Roxbury High School later this evening.

There are two parts to the parent program, as outlined below:

• 5:30-6:00 - Special Services Parent Program in the RHS Media Center - This is for students and families that are supported through our Special Education programs and related services.
• 6:00-8:00 - Full 8th Grade Parent Program in the RHS Auditorium - This event is open to ALL 8th Grade students and families. This will be a chance for you and your 8th grader to meet Mr. Crispino and the Roxbury High School administrative team, learn about the exciting programs and courses offered at RHS. This program is similar to today's student assembly, but geared more towards the parent's critical role in this transition process. Accordingly, students are welcome but certainly not required to attend.

• 2/3 - Roxbury HS Electives Fair - During 8th grade lunch, students will have the opportunity to browse interactive display tables, meet student and staff representatives, and ask questions about various elective programs and areas of interest.

• 2/17 - 3/7: Genesis Parent Portal opens for course requests. This is where you and your student will record your official course requests for 9th grade.
