A Note About the Book Fair

We’re excited to host our upcoming Literati Book Fair. This is a new book fair company for us and we are excited to bring in a different vendor. This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our library. Since it is a different company, things will be a little different than in the Fall. Here’s what you need to know about the Fair:

• The fair will take place from Monday May 6th- Thursday 9th from 7:15-3:00 and on Friday May 10th from 7:15-12:00. The book fair will close on Friday at 12:00, so please keep that in mind when planning your shopping. Parents are welcome to come anytime during those hours.
• We are having a special event on Friday May 3rd. The book fair will be open from 5:00-7:00. You can shop the book fair before it opens at school the next week! There will also be other fun things to do.
• Please check the Easley homepage and Bloomz for info online gift cards you can set up for students and other needed info.
• PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TAX WILL BE CHARGED ON PURCHASES FROM THIS BOOK FAIR AND ALL BOOK FAIRS MOVING FORWARD. Students are not used to needing to have extra funds to account for tax, so please have a conversation with your children.

PTA Updates and Reminders:

Spring fling on Friday, May 3rd

Please make plans to join us on Friday, May 3rd from 5-7pm at Easley. The event will feature free pizza, bingo and outdoor activities – plus the book fair will be open for shopping! More details will be coming home with your student.

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6th -10th

PTA is busy planning a week of celebration to let our amazing Easley teachers know how much we value them! See the below graphic for how you can help. Easley Night Out In: Nuvotaco on May 15th

Back by popular demand—Nuvotaco is partnering with PTA on a takeout fundraiser. Families are eligible to purchase a “quick pack” meal with additional add-ons as desired. Families can pick up their meals at either Easley or Aldersgate between 5 and 6 pm on May 15th. Orders must be placed by noon on May 14th – and a pickup location must be specified when ordering. Please use this link to order. NuvoTaco will donate $7.50 to the PTA for each “quick pack” ordered – our past experience is that each order has a lot of food and has generally lasted most families more than a single meal.
