Dear Bear Creek Families,

It is hard to believe that Spring Break was just last week. Our Cub Run was so much fun. Thank you PTA for organizing such an amazing event. We appreciate the support of the community as well. Our Cubs are so blessed to have many layers of support that build into their success. Below you will see many pictures from the Cub Run and our week back on campus. Enjoy!

Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year Opens April 1st!

Please register your student beginning April 1st using the link below! We register students every year. Please help us staff appropriately for the upcoming school year by completing your registration as soon as possible. Knowing our staffing needs early in the hiring season gives us access to the best of the best pool of applicants we are able to hire for your children.

New families/students need to upload the required registration documents when completing registration.

Returning families do not need to upload registration documents unless something has changed.

Our campus has been extremely blessed to have to Promyse Draper serve on our Special Education Team. This week she was able to notify families on her caseload about her return to Ohio. Ms. Draper will be missed. However, we understand the desire to live closer to family. Please see below for a message from Ms. Draper.

Dear Parents,

It has been an absolute honor to serve as your child’s case manager. For the past two years, I have been fortunate to work as a special education teacher at Bear Creek, building relationships with both students and families.

After much thought and consideration, I have made the decision to move back to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to my family. While I will deeply miss working with you and your students, I am incredibly grateful for the time I have spent here. It has been a privilege to support your children and witness their growth.

I will be finishing out the 2024-2025 school year and will continue to support your students to the best of my ability. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or comments.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s journey. You all will be truly missed!

Important Dates:

Just a reminder that we are a closed campus on STAAR testing days. If we have numerous STAAR make-ups, we may also need to close for the day after as well.

STAAR Reading (3rd - 5th) April 10, 2025

STAAR Math (3rd - 5th) April 24, 2025

STAAR Science (5th only) April 16, 2025

No SCHOOL on MONDAY! Enjoy the 3 day weekend.

CAC Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Monday, April 7th at 3:30 pm in the Library. All are welcome to attend. We enjoyed seeing so many new faces and having a need to grab a few additional chairs. Thank you to Kristina Stockfisch for the snacks. Those soft touches are a wonderful part of the time we get to spend together.
