Please click on the link below to access the Returning Student Registration. This is required for all students attending D303 for the 24-25 School Year. This includes current 5th graders going off to middle school and boundary change students. Please note, it will still say Wasco as your students school until June. If your student is not coming back, please notify us by sending an email to: heather.kudabeck@d303.org

The ABC Challenge
What is it?
The ABC Challenge is a way to continue to encourage and celebrate learning as we wrap our year up. Each day is a theme related to a letter of the alphabet. The theme can be an activity, a focus for the day, or a dress-up day.
When does it start?
We will start with the letter A next Tuesday, April 23. There is a day set aside after "Z" to wear Wasco or Thompson wear on the last day.

Tell us a little bit about you:
My name is Liz. Our family of three lives in the Brierwood subdivision. In addition to my amazing daughter Emily, I have 100+ other kids – 7th graders that I teach social studies to at Wredling Middle School. I’m a big Cubs fan, TV binger and avid reader. I try to read 5-6 books a month.
How long have you been a member of the Wasco Community? What are your current students' grade levels?
This will be our 4th year in the Wasco community. My daughter Emily will be in third grade this school year.
What would the Wasco Community be surprised to learn about you?
I don’t drink coffee
What are some things your family does for fun?
Working out in the yard, trying new food, playing games, going thrifting, and spending time with our extended family.

Create a life you enjoy living

Janelle Vik - Treasurer
Tell us a little bit about you:
Mom to Dominic & Evan Vik. I love giving back to the school by helping with the PTO. Last year, I served on the board as the fundraiser and organized the restaurant nights out. When I am not helping out with PTO or watching the kids play sports, I help members of the Fox Valley, northwest and western suburbs buy, sell and invest in real estate as an agent with Baird & Warner.
How long have you been a member of the Wasco Community? What are your current students' grade levels?
Our family moved back to St. Charles in 2022. Dominic is finishing up 2nd grade and Evan is finishing up Kindergarten.
What would the Wasco Community be surprised to learn about you?
I love to snowmobile and boat with the family in the UP of Michigan/upper Wisconsin.
What are some things your family does for fun?
Go up to the cabin. Play board/card games. Go to the pool… you’ll probably see us at Otter Cove all summer!
Is there a quote or saying that you live your life by?
Faith over fear - believe in yourself and let the fear melt away.
How did you spend your summer?
Will go to the cabin, fish, swim, boat and ride jet skis.

Attention Orchestra Families!
We are in the home stretch--summer is right around the corner! As you begin to fill up your summer with activities and vacations, you should consider our very own D303 Summer Strings Camp!
This camp will be for orchestra students who are currently in grades 3 - 8. Camp will be June 17,18, 20 and June 24, 25, 26 and 27 in the evenings at Thompson Middle School.

Early Release
One Wednesday per month, students will have an early release and dismissal will occur at 2:10pm. Please refer to the district website.

Calling in an absence
Attention Parents....Arrival and Dismissal
When using the drop off lane, please drive all the way forward so that we can load/unload as many cars as possible. Please stay in your car. If you wish to get out and load your child, you are welcome to park in the lot. By following this procedure, we can expedite everyone’s waiting times in the car lane.
