Semi Dance June 2
The Semi-formal Committee has planned a fun Hollywood themed event that was voted on by our children. The committee has some great ideas and are providing some awesome themed decor items to make this a very special event for our kids but need help from contributions - snacks, beverages and monetary donations to the Decor Fund to provide the Hollywood themed decor items such as a photo booth, gold accents, red carpet and stanchions, table cloths, etc.
If you'd like to contribute to the Decor Fund please do so as soon as possible so we can order and purchase items.

If you'd like to donate food and beverage items to be dropped off to the MMS cafeteria, June 2nd, between 3-5 PM, please use the link below.

Principal's Note
Happy Cinco de Mayo, and bring on the Kentucky Derby! I hope that this newsletter finds you well. We are in the home stretch with 27 "wake ups" left for your students. It is hard to believe that the 2022-2023 school year is almost done.
It is going to be a very busy 27 days. We will be working to complete our remaining MCAS testing over the next three weeks and will then be into our end of the year activities.
With that said, I would like to remind students that their participation in the fun end of the year activities is a privilege, not a right. Please remember that their participation in end of year activities is contingent on their good behavior in school, making good choices and keeping focused on their academics. We are still in school and teachers have a number of things to accomplish academically before the end of the year, so please keep that focus. Parents, we appreciate your support in reminding students to make good choices while in school.
We are very proud of all the things that are going on in classrooms, after school, in athletics, evening events, art shows and the music and drama programs. Please enjoy all of the wonderful information in this newsletter.
I would also like to wish all the best to our MS Drama Group as they compete in Festival on Saturday, this weekend, at the Marshfield Middle School. Their slot is at 1:00pm. All the best, break a leg!
Thank you for all your support and have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Paul
