

State Testing
Days, Times, and Details!
Grades 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12 @ MVS
All testing will begin at the listed start times below, so please do not be late. End times are best estimates. Students will be allowed to call or text their parents if their group finishs testing early. To pick up your student, you will need to park, go into the school with your ID, and sign him/her out. Please make sure students eat breakfast or lunch before coming to test. There will be no snack time, nor meal service. These grade levels will test at the Maryville Virtual School building.
Testing in grades 6-12 will be online this year. Thus, all 8th-12th grade students need to come with a completely charged laptop. Also bring your charger and a pencil. Students will be required to turn off their cell phones and turn them into the teacher during testing. Please do not wear smart watches with interent access. Also, MVS will provide the needed calculators for the math tests.
Notes:
- Students who are the "small group" testing sessions below will be contacted directly to let them know.
- Not all classes in high school have state tests at the end of the course. The courses that do have End of Course tests are Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, English 1, English 2, and Biology.
- Statewide Dual Credit tests are for possible college credit and are quite diffcult! MVS courses that have SDC tests are US History, Intro to Business, Criminal Justice 2, and Precalculus.
Grades 4, 5, 6, & 7 @ CGIS
Students in grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 will test at Coulter Grove Intermediate School. All testing will begin at the listed start times below, so please do not be late. 7:40 is during CGIS's normal drop off time, so traffic will be heavy. Feel free to park and walk your student inside or you may drop him/her off by going through the line. Students will report to the front office and let them know that you are an MVS student and are there to test. End times are best estimates.
