Dear Mustang Parents,

Track & Field Day is on Thursday, March 13th @ LWE Track Field.

Kinder-2nd Grade will have Field Day from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

3rd-5th Grade will have Field Day from 8:30am-11am.

The link above also has important info such as arrival times, where to enter, & a map of where your child starts.
We have stations where the students will get wet so please have your child/children wear the following:

Bathing suit
Class shirt
Shorts
Shoes (Not crocs, because they will have both active (sprint race) & wet stations)
Bring a water bottle.

Please also have them bring an extra change of:

Clothes
Towel
Socks & shoes

Parent Input Forms for the upcoming school year (2025-2026) are available. Please provide information you feel is appropriate for your student for the upcoming school year. Please click here and complete by March 28, 2025. Forms submitted after this date will not be reviewed/considered.

DISCOVERY/GIFTED AND TALENTED PROGRAM REFERRAL DEADLINE for KINDERGARTEN IS MARCH 13TH!

Attention LTISD Parents and Guardians,

The Discovery Program, otherwise known as Gifted and Talented, is now accepting parent referrals for KINDERGARTEN G/T Screening via this Google form.

The Elementary Discovery Program is a cross-curricular thematic-based pullout program for students in grades K-5. Participating students will demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication as evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity and are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience, or environment. To be identified as gifted and talented, each student must undergo a screening and selection process. Assessment opportunities are made available once per school year.

If you feel your child is a good candidate for the G/T screening process, please fill out the link below. The deadline to register is March 13 at 3 pm. More information about the program can be found on the Lake Travis ISD Gifted & Talented website.
