I hope that you are all having an amazing summer filled with fun, travel and good times! This is the summer publication of "The Eagle's Nest" newsletter. It has some updates for you as you prepare your families to return back to school on August 15th.

Online Registration Completion

All families must have completed online registration before picking up your child's class assignment information.

Residency Verification Needed for K & 3rd grade and New Students

If your child is entering Kindergarten or 3rd grade or a new student, you MUST verify your residency information before your child's class assignment information can be picked up. All residency documents should be emailed to FHverfiy@sd161.org.

The first day back to school for the 2024 - 2025 school year is Thursday, August 15th!

Grades K-5 Hours

• Class begins at 8:40 a.m.
• Class ends at 3:15 p.m.

Pre-School Hours

• Pre-K Morning Session: 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Pre-K Afternoon Session: 12:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Early Childhood Hours

• EC Morning Session: 8:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• EC Afternoon Session: 12:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Pre-K and Kindergarten families are invited to attend open house at Flossmoor Hills! Join us on August 13th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for students to meet their teacher, drop off school supplies and see the classroom and building before the first day of school.

The 2024-25 School Supply list is here.

Parents are welcome to drop-off school supplies to the school beginning on August 5th, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Please label all supplies with your child’s name (leave them in the bags on the tables in the lobby) and we will make sure their supplies are waiting for them in their classroom on the first day of school.

The PTO is ready to plan amazing events for our school community! They are seeking volunteers to help with activities and events during the year. Visit the PTO table during class assignment pick up to learn how you can help!
