November 4th - November 8th
What's Happening This Week:
Welcome to another exciting week in Our Classroom! ๐ Weโve been having a blast learning and growing together, and I canโt wait to share whatโs coming up next! Letโs dive right in!
Last week We had a fantastic time exploring new concepts and engaging in fun activities!
Next week In Phonics, we will focus on three-letter blends: scr, spl, spr, squ, and str. These blends will help our little learners become more confident readers! ๐
In Reading, weโll be diving into drawing inferences, identifying who is telling the story, and comparing and contrasting the experiences of characters in two different stories. ๐ When reading together at night, encourage your child to look at the cover and take a picture walk. Ask them questions about the story and help them retell the characters, setting, problem, solution, and the sequence of events. This will enhance their comprehension and storytelling skills!
In Math, we will be completing Unit 3. Letโs keep those math minds sharp! ๐งฎ

Thanksgiving Break: Mark your calendars! There will be no school from November 25th-29th. Enjoy the time with your family and friends.
Things to remember As we move forward, please remember to read with your child every night and encourage them to share their thoughts about the stories. This practice is invaluable for their development!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Halloween Party! The kids had an absolute blast crafting their spooky monster and fall-themed bookmarks. A special shoutout to Mrs. Meyers for her incredible planning and the delicious snacks that kept us all energized and smiling!
