Meet Miss Sloan Winder, Speech-Language Pathologist
Miss Winder is starting her first year as a speech-language pathologist and her first year at Oak Grove! She is so excited to start her first year at Oak Grove! Miss Winder just graduated with her master’s degree from Kansas State University (GO CATS!!) When Miss Winder is not at school, you can find her with her dog, Kash, shopping at Target, cooking, reading, or tailgating at KSU football games! She looks forward to making new connections this school year with her students, coworkers, and community!
Library Update
It's week 2 of library class, and your child should be bringing books home to read. We received over 200 new books over the summer! I'm still contacting parents about missing books from last year. Please email or call me if you have any questions regarding lost books and payments. Let's work something out, so that your child can resume checkout. So far, no reports of water bottle and book accidents! Great job, OG!
(Water bottles and library books do not mix! Please remind your child, when loading their backpack, to keep their water bottle in a separate location from their library books. Nobody likes paying for damaged books.)
Save the date: Our first Book Fair is October 18-19 during conferences.
