Eastview Update

This is just a reminder that the district will have an early release day on Wednesday, September 25. Students will start their day at the normal time but will be dismissed from the elementary buildings at noon that day. Dismissal will be the same procedures that we always use, just at noon, instead of 3:20 pm.

All students will eat their lunches in their classrooms on Early Release Day. Lunch will start at 11:25 am and end at 11:50 am. Students will have an opportunity to pack or buy their lunches just like normal. There will be no extras offered on the early release day. If your child wants to buy that day, there will only be one lunch option for the day.

Cheese Cup

Milk

Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up October 9th & 10th

Sign-ups for Parent-Teacher Conferences will open on Friday, September 27th at 4:00 pm. Please use the link below to sign up. To sign up, please go to: https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Eastview

and you will be able to sign up for a time slot for one or all of your children that attend Eastview.

If you have questions about the sign-up process, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher. You may have some issues if you try to access the link on your mobile device. I recommend using a desktop or laptop computer. If you do not have internet access, please send a note to your child’s teacher and a time will be scheduled for you. We look forward to seeing everyone for our fall conferences on October 9th, from 4:00 pm-7:30 pm & October 10th, from 8:00 am-4:00 pm.

Just a quick reminder that there is no school for students on October 11th for NEOEA Day.

We hope everyone enjoyed our Homecoming Spirit Week! We heard there was some great school spirit through the building this week!

Homecoming Parade: Tomorrow! 9/21. Meet at the high school north parking lot by 10:15 to ride or walk with the Eastview float. Our theme is Willy Wonka… all are encouraged to have fun with the theme whether that means dressing like your favorite Wonka character or candy, or fun themed colors or Avon Lake gear is great too! PTA will provide candy to pass out, but if you want to bring any extra, it surely won’t go to waste! There is no parking at the high school, so please plan ahead.

Mumkins Delivery: Saturday, 10/5, 12:00-2:00 pm at Eastview (back of the building)
