From Principal Sanchez-Hart
Hello Highline Families and Staff,
With May in full swing, we are completing our final units of study in all of our subjects and we are looking forward to the end of the year events like Field Day, our Trimester 3 CARES assembly, Kinder Graduation, and of course our 5th Grade Continuation!
With so much on the horizon, it is important to remember that this week is our Staff Appreciation Week! Tuesday, May 7th is National Teacher Appreciation Day and Wednesday, May 8th is National School Nurse Appreciation Day! If you haven't had a chance to thank your student's teachers or our sweet Nurse Maddie, please consider sending them a kind note of thanks for the amazing year we have had together! Our Highline teachers and staff go above and beyond to serve our Highline Community each and everyday! It is our people that make Highline a great place to teach and learn!
With our continued focus on our learning, now is the time to prepare for our upcoming summer break. At the bottom of the newsletter, please find information about our ESC Summer Camp program, which will be held at the Challenge School, a pdf file about camps across the metro area, and information about the Summer Meal Program as select CCSD schools and Utah Park.
We look forward to see you at one of the several end of the year events, and we thank you for your continued partnership to help our students end on a strong note. Remember to "Share Your Story and Power Your Potential!"
Sincerely,
Proud Principal Diana Sanchez-Hart
