Annville-Cleona Youth Wrestling
Annville-Cleona Youth Wrestling will have elementary wrestling open gyms on November 5th and 12th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the high school. This will be a good opportunity for anyone considering wrestling this year to come out and try it before signing up. It is also for anyone returning to wrestle again to get a couple of workouts in before the season starts. Parents should come to the front doors by the auditorium to get into the school.
If you would like to sign your child up for wrestling, please use the link found here. Forms can also be found outside of the main office!
Angel Tree
Angel Tree is an opportunity to receive gift assistance for Christmas. Angel Tree is open to Annville-Cleona School District students and other preschool-aged children who live in the home. Families must complete the Google Form by Friday, November 8th, 2024.
Please Note: There will be an option this year to receive your gifts wrapped or unwrapped.
Gifts will be available for pick up at the Annville-Cleona District Office on Wednesday, December 18th, and Thursday, December 19th, between 9AM and 3PM.
If you have any questions, please contact the Social Work Department at kscott@acschools.org or sgergenti@acschools.org. Thank you!

New to the AE Team
Please join me in welcoming the following new staff members to our AE Team!
Mrs. Teaman - Reading Specialist
Hi! I am Kristen Teaman and am excited to join the Annville-Cleona School District. I come to you with fifteen years of experience in elementary education. I taught fourth grade at the Palmyra Area School District for the first thirteen years of my career. I have been a reading specialist in the Warwick School District for the last year and a half.
Annville-Cleona has won the hearts of my family members over the last two years as we sent our then-foster children and
now adopted children to Cleona Elementary. We have seen how this district loves all of its students and comes alongside every family. This makes me both eager and excited to join this team!
My husband, Cameron, and I live in Mount Gretna with our six children: De’Marcus, Alylyanna, Kyree, Kristiana, Isabella,
and Haven. We love all things Penn State, especially Penn State Wrestling (you can look for Mr. Teaman as he trains future wrestlers at Annville Elementary Wrestling practice).
I look forward to meeting you all soon!
Mrs. Hall - School Counselor
Hi AE families! My name is Denise Hall, and I am excited to join the Annville community as a new school counselor. This is my 14th year in education. I started as a high school and middle school French teacher and then found a love in school counseling. This will be my 8th year as a counselor. My favorite part of being a counselor is the relationships I get to build with students, families, and my fellow staff members.
Outside of school, my favorite thing to do is travel with my family. My husband and I have created a bit of a travel addict out of our 5-year-old, and we love it! I also love to read, cook/bake, and exercise.
I am here for whatever you need. I’m just an email or phone call away. I can’t wait to meet all of you!
Mr. Brinser - 6th Grade Math Teacher
My name is Joshua Brinser, and I’m super excited to join the Annville Elementary team as a 6th-grade math teacher. I have taught 5th grade in the Palmyra Area School District at Forge Road and Northside Elementary Schools for 20 years. Surprisingly, I started my career at Northside Elementary as a kindergarten teacher in my first two years. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I can’t wait to teach it to the sixth graders at Annville Elementary.
My family and I currently live in Palmyra, and I grew up three blocks from my current home. My son Wyatt is a seventh grader at Palmyra Area Middle School. He currently plays basketball, swims, and plays the violin. My wife, Alicia Brinser, is a 1st grade teacher at Northside Elementary School in Palmyra. We enjoy traveling, going to Hershey Park, and walking our super energetic three-year-old Boxer, Norman. I look forward to meeting all of you and joining the Annville community.
Cell Phone and Smartwatch Expectations
Moving forward, we will have signs in our classrooms and other locations throughout the school to remind students that personal devices should be kept away. When cell phones are seen, teachers and staff will remind students of the rule. For a second infraction, the staff member will communicate with the student and parent/guardian and assign an appropriate consequence (loss of privilege during the day). All future infractions will be referred to the principal. After repeated offenses, the principal may choose to store the student's cell phone for the day.
