Finley-Oates Elementary School

The mission of Finley-Oates Elementary School is to provide instruction and support to build a strong educational foundation, while promoting opportunities for all students to achieve their maximum academic, social, emotional, and physical potential.

School Hours:

• All classes begin at 7:40 am.
• Dismissal for Kindergarten and First Grade is 3:05 pm.
• Dismissal for Second and Third Grades is 3:15 pm.
• Anyone picking up a student before 2:50 must bring a valid government-issued photo ID (ex: driver's license).

Please be considerate when dropping off or picking up your student by not parking in our marked Handicap Parking spaces unless you have a valid tag or sticker.

• Parents may drop-off on the west side of the building, or go through the drive on the north side.
  
• Please do not drop students off at the front doors (east side). Parents must walk students in if entering from the front.

Horatio Dental Clinic would like to offer all students in Fannin County without insurance a free exam and x-rays. However, if any treatment is needed, a discount may equally apply. So, please come to Horatio Dental Clinic and schedule a free appointment today. Students with private insurance could also possibly receive a discount toward treatment plans, depending on insurance coverage.

October 3rd through October 10th

The class at each grade level that brings the most food items will win a pizza party. We will have kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade class winners. If our campus collects 5000 or more food items, Mrs. Fox will kiss a pig!

Parents and students are invited to attend a night of fun learning games and reading!

October 8th -- 5:30-7:00 pm

Students must be accompanied by an adult.

The City of Bonham has adopted the nursing home project Socks for Seniors. Volunteers will deliver socks to senior adults during the Great Days of Service campaign Saturday, October 12th. Students are encouraged to donate a pair of socks to help support our senior community. A collection box has been set up at Finley-Oates.

Only adults with no insurance are eligible to receive immunizations with Texas DSHS.
