Dear Families,

On Thursday, 10/3 we will be hosting our first set of parent teacher conferences from 4-7:30 p.m. Your child’s teacher will meet with you by appointment either at these conferences or our November conferences that will take place on November 4th.

We look forward to meeting with families to share all the learning that is happening with your child and how you can support your child through at home learning. Come and learn about your child’s academic and social-emotional progress in school. Families can also ask about the support in place to ensure your child is successful in school. Families are children’s first teachers, and we believe in partnering with you to ensure that our students meet grade-level standards by the end of this school year.

Families can also look into supporting learning at home by attending a special event. Mark your calendar for the At Home Learning: What’s Possible event next Wednesday 10/9 at Heritage Middle School. Please see below for details.

Last week we began safety drills. During the school year we have a variety of drills including fire, tornado, bus evacuation, lock down and a safety walk drill. Teachers will be talking with students in an age appropriate manner before we have each drill to explain the why and the expectations during the drill. If you have any questions regarding safety drills please feel free to contact us at any time.
