Explicit and Intentional Engaged Learning
Teachers at NYA use "Learning Points" and "Anchor Charts" to make explicit what they want their students to know, understand, and be able to do for each lesson. As we facilitate and engage students in learning, we focus on being intentional to support students to learn. Check out the samples of Learning Points and Anchor Charts below as well as snapshots of students engaged in learning.
