Summer Attire
May 8, 2024
JC Families,
We need your help! Now that the warmer weather has finally arrived, our students are sporting their summer attire. We want our students to be comfortable but also to ensure they dress appropriately for school.
I want to provide some basic guidance to help our school community continue to be an amazing learning environment for all as we enjoy the beautiful weather.
As a reminder:
Please do not send students to school with T-shirts or clothing that has symbols or signs of alcohol, firearms, or any type of mood-altering drugs.
Students need to understand that beachwear, such as bathing suit tops or sheer cover ups, are not appropriate for school.
Students are active at school, including during our wonderful physical education program and outdoor recess times, wearing flip flops can be a challenge when running on the playground or participating in activities.
Shorts and skirts should be of an appropriate length, not exposing undergarments.
Knowing how quickly children outgrow their clothing, if you need additional support, please let us know by reaching out to the administrative team, social worker, or your child’s teacher for us to connect you with available local resources.
Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation. Let’s have a great final two months of school together!
Mrs. Trish McGuire
Dear Parents,
We could not do all that we do without your partnership! We want to express our gratitude for your continuous support and meaningful involvement in school activities. Your presence and encouragement make the learning experience more enriching for all students. You are truly appreciated, and we are very grateful for your genuine involvement.
Please stop by for coffee, breakfast and a thank you for all that you do. If you have volunteered once or you have volunteered all year we want to show our appreciation, so come on by.
Sincerely,
Trish McGuire and the entire JC staff
