Tussing Elementary welcomes all families to escort their students into the building during the morning arrival time. Between 8:55 am and 9:15 am, families may walk with their students through the main hallways to the pod doors.

Now that the school year is well underway and students are familiar with routines, moving forward, we ask that families say their "goodbyes" at the pod corridors.

Allowing students to walk through the pods to their classrooms by themselves provides the opportunity to practice self-motivated success. Together, let's encourage students to gain their independence.

Tussing Elementary welcomes all families to visit their students throughout the school day. Any family member must be registered in Infinite Campus to have contact with the child throughout the school day. We must be following district policy to keep all students and staff safe.

If you would like to visit your child's classroom, this may be done by scheduling a time with the teacher 24 hours in advance. Additionally, you will need to complete a Visitor Observation form. The form is attached to the bottom of this newsletter and there are copies in the office.

Be advised, if an observation or meeting with the teacher is not scheduled in advance, we will not be able to send you down to the classroom. Please also know that you will be asked for identification as you enter the building.

Team Tussing is working hard to make sure we maintain open communication with all families while keeping all students safe. We appreciate your support and involvement.
