**FAMILIES WHO WANT TO BE ABLE TO FIND LOCKERS, PRACTICE OPENING LOCKERS, WALK THEIR SCHEDULE, AND JUST BECOME MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE BUILDING ARE INVITED TO DO SO BETWEEN 9AM AND 2PM ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 29th. NEW THIS YEAR!
- After years of not having a library at the secondary site, students can expect to once again have a space where they can find and access books they are interested in reading. The new and improved library space will be open officially by MEA weekend.
- Proctor public schools is switching student information systems. Instead of Infinite Campus, students and families will now use PowerSchool to access information about a student's academic progress. To log in, go to ps.isd704.org. You should have received an email from our tech department with your log in information. If not, contact the main office. Your patience is requested as our technology department works diligently to finalize this transition will all the data that needs to be moved from Infinite Campus.
- High school students will have the opportunity to participate in boys and girls Tennis this coming Spring thanks to a cooperative agreement with Stella Marais Academy. More information will come as to how to join and participate.
- Prices for admission into events and activities has increased. Adult tickets are $10 each. PHS students are no longer free and will pay $5 for admission. Punch passes are available for purchase from the activities office (Anthony Wood) for $60. With 10 punches on the pass, each admission will end up being $6 which is a $4 savings per event for adults. Family punch passes are also available upon request.
Proctor High School has joined the Direct Admissions program for the 2024-25 school year! In the fall, our seniors will receive a list of participating colleges and universities that are offering them proactive admission based on academic records. With Direct Admissions, students do not pay any application fees to apply to the institutions on their list.
Direct Admissions allows students to apply with confidence, knowing the "will I get in?" question has already been answered with a "YES!"
Learn more about Direct Admissions at www.ohe.state.mn.us/directadmissions.
- Cell phones will not be allowed during instructional time and students will be expected to turn off their phone and place it in a cell phone holder in the front of the room for the duration of each class period including study hall and Railtime. Students can use their phones during passing time, lunch, and before/after school. This expectation is a result of legislation passed by the state last Spring requiring all school districts to have procedures in place to minimize the effects of cell phones on learning and mental health. Click here to access the cell phone expectations document.
