Class Meetings
In partnership with local law enforcement, GHS will hold class meetings on February 20th and 21st to inform the student body on current trends in social media safety and to promote healthy relationships. If you have questions about these meetings, please contact your student's counselor.
Testing Information
More information will be coming soon, but PSAT/SAT testing is coming soon. The dates are below:
April 11: ACT WorkKeys (Juniors) & PSAT 9 and PSAT 10 (9th and 10th graders)
April 16: SAT (Juniors)
Please note, students that receive testing accommodations as part of their IEP may have a different testing schedule. Please contact your student's caseload provider or counselor with any questions.
Appointments are discouraged during these dates.

Thank you for taking the time to provide Superintendent Cracraft with input about the characteristics you would like to see in the next principal of Gaylord High School. The data below is from the survey that was sent to staff, students, and parents.
Band Solo & Ensemble Results
Last weekend, 31 Gaylord High School Band members participated in 22 events at district solo and ensemble festival. Every event earned medals at the festival, with 9 events earning a Division 2 (Excellent) Rating and 13 Events Earning a Division 1 (Superior) Rating. The following students have qualified for state solo and ensemble festival next month in Cadillac: Ashlyn Wohlfeil, Hannah Moore, Elly Kuras, Emma Coy, Halie Mattieson, Joshua Lochinski, Klaire Boettcher, Myiah VanderLinde, Skylar Boyden, Logan Hellenberg, Logan Kettlewell, Christopher Peterson, Tommy Gray-Edel, Gabe Slough, Kaylee Bowron, Tyler Hawley, Tanner Hawley, Noelle Vogan, and Sophia Kniss all qualified for 1 event. Ray Hauswirth and Kenzie Bowron qualified for state festival in two events each, and Alana Knepper qualified for 3 events.
The attached pictures are our trumpet quartet consisting of Kaylee and Kenzie Bowron and Tyler and Tanner Hawley after receiving the first division I rating of the day, and of Alana Knepper after finding out that she received her 3rd division 1 rating of the day (and Gaylord's 13th of the day).
