Back to School Update

Garden Workday 8/19- Join Eagle families for the last garden workday of the summer this coming Saturday, August 19 from 9-10:30am. We will be harvesting long beans, okra, cucumbers and basil. Families can pick and take what they'd like. Donut holes from Dunkin Donuts will also be available, first come, first serve. Contact Joanna Lee with questions (joanna222@hotmail.com). If you're new to the school, the garden is located behind the school.

Join Eagle Families for coffee and bagels for the first PTA meeting of the year on August 31st 7:50-8:50am in the school cafeteria. Come learn about ways to get involved at the school and meet other parents. Can't make it? No problem. The PTA will meet three times total this year 1/11/24 6-7pm, 5/9/24, 6-7pm. There are many opportunities to volunteer on campus or on your own time and we need helpers!

Fall Blacktop Bash - Friday, September 8th 5:30-7:00pm. It's that time of year again! Come and admire the newly repaved blacktop and let the kids play while you meet other Estes Hills parents. There will be pizza by the slice for sale, a taco food truck, Kona Ice and Alsies Cream on the blacktop. Pizza will be cash or check only. All food trucks will take cards. Estes Hills merchandise will also be for sale (cash or check only).

Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd from 5:30-6:30 in the media center. This event is for parents only and childcare will not be provided.

Meet Your Teacher will take place on August 24th from 6:00-7:00. This is a drop-in event and no presentation will be given by the classroom teachers; therefore, you may come at any time between 6:00-7:00.

**Families will receive a call by 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 23rd to inform them of their child's teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

**Bus information will also be provided at this time.
