Rocket Update April 14th

Quarter 4 - Week 5 π
Good Morning Rose Lane Families!
We have a short week ahead of us. There is no school on Friday for the Spring Holiday. π
3rd and 4th Grade Parents, just a reminder that tomorrow both grades have AASA testing. Please make sure your 3rd and 4th grade kiddos are here and on time tomorrow. Then on Thursday, 4th Grade will have their final day of testing. We will then finish out the month with makeup testing.
Wednesday of this week is our Librarian Appreciation Day! Our amazing Librarian Jahnvieve Buseman does so much for our kiddos, we are so grateful for her! π
Wednesday evening is also our Kinder Performance from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the Madison Center for the Arts. We hope to see all of our kinder families there! It is our final performance of the school year.
We only have 5 and 1/2 weeks left of school! Wow! The year is almost coming to a close. Let's continue to make sure all of our students are here at school every day! We have a lot of fun events planned for the end of the year so every day counts! We appreciate your support with this. Have a great week everyone! π
Your Rose Lane Principal,
Andre Reyes, M.Ed.
Cafeteria News π±
On Tuesday, 4/15/25, the Cafeteria will be doing Farm to School. We will be serving many fresh, colorful varieties of carrots to try. We will be dipping carrots, jicama, celery, cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes in our Cottage Cheese Buffalo Chicken Dip (without actual chicken). We will also be serving "Birthday Cake" flavored milk in addition to our white and chocolate choice for the day.

Art Masterpiece π¨
Art Masterpiece needs YOU!
Since 1983, Art Masterpiece has become a beloved program in the Madison School District to educate our students about artists who have made a significant impact in history. No art experience is required to become a volunteer for Art Masterpiece. We provide training, as well as presentations, resources, and ideas for projects for you to use or you can make it your own!
As a volunteer for Art Masterpiece you will present information about an artist, their art, history, geographic and cultural relevance, artistic value, unique aspects, art appreciation and create a fun art project with students!
If you are interested in being a volunteer for Art Masterpiece at Rose Lane, please fill out the interest form here:
