We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of Ms. Moreno during their time with Klein High Choir. Her commitment to our students and their success has been thrilling to watch as she begins her teaching career. From leading rehearsals to providing guidance and encouragement, Ms. Moreno has been an invaluable part of our choir family. Thank you, Ms. Moreno —we will miss you and we wish her the best of luck as she moves to her elementary school placement!

On March 1, the Klein High Chamber Choir competed in the prestigious San Antonio Texas Madrigal Festival. We are thrilled to share that Chamber earned a first-division rating in this highly competitive statewide event! In addition, the choir received a Performance of Distinction award, an honor given to select choirs among the 45 competitors, recognizing the festival's exceptional level of competition. Congratulations to the Klein High Chamber Choir!

We hope those attending our spring trip are excited for next week! Below is the video recording from our trip meeting for any parents and the slide deck detailing the entire trip. Below are a few final reminders.

1. Overnight Travel Permission Form (DUE TODAY) - can also be found HERE.
2. Medication Administration Form (DUE Friday, March 14) - can also be found HERE.
3. All students will be field-tripped on Friday 3/14 for the entire school day.

Thank you to those who attended our choir social/service project. Through the leadership of our choir officers, we made many dog toys and bandannas to be donated to a local animal shelter! Our very own choir mascot, Delta Dawn (Mrs. Berger's dog) even got a new bandanna out of the event!

Chorale will sing the Star Spangled Banner at the Klein ISD ROTC Spring Review event on Thursday, March 11 at 9:30 AM at the Klein Memorial Stadium. Chorale students will be field-tripped for 3rd & 4th periods and will need to wear their Chorale polo along with jeans.

As you finalize course selections for next year, here’s some important choir info. In Skyward, select CHORAL MUSIC followed by your total years in high school choir. For example, if this is your first year, you’re in CHORAL MUSIC 1, so sign up for CHORAL MUSIC 2 next year. If you chose the wrong course, no worries—we can work with counselors to correct it for 2025-2026.

If you plan to audition for Chamber Choir, please sign up for VOCAL ENSEMBLE in Skyward. Auditions will be held in April, and counselors can enroll you in the course now via email if you have not done so. If you make the ensemble, you're all set! If not, you’ll need to work with your counselor in May to select a backup course or elective.

This special evening will showcase our talented Chamber Choir, with live instrumentation accompanying both group performances and solos. Tickets are $12 and are on sale now.
