International Holocaust Remembrance Day
Let us Remember
Lincoln Families,
Monday is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and we'd like to take a moment to honor the memory of the six million Jewish men, women, and children, along with countless others, whose lives were tragically taken during the Holocaust. This day serves as an important reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and our shared responsibility to stand against hatred, prejudice, and injustice in all its forms.
As we reflect, we encourage our students to engage in meaningful conversations about history, empathy, and the importance of inclusion and respect in our diverse community. These values remain at the core of who we are at Lincoln Middle School.
Thank you for your continued partnership in fostering a school environment where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to learn.

Basketball has begun!
We’re excited to announce the start of our basketball season! This marks an incredible opportunity for our student-athletes to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the court.
We are so proud of the hard work and dedication our athletes and coaches have put into preparing for the season. As they step onto the court, let’s cheer them on and celebrate their effort, growth, and determination—both in practice and during games.
To our players: We wish you the best of luck this season! Remember, every play is a chance to learn, grow, and demonstrate the values that make our school community proud.
Thank you to our families and fans for your unwavering support. Let’s show up, cheer loud, and make this a season to remember!

Lions Leading- Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices!
Thank you!
At Lincoln Middle School, we are proud to celebrate the innovative and culturally responsive teaching practices of our educators. These approaches help foster empathy, inclusivity, and meaningful engagement in our classrooms.
We’d like to recognize the outstanding work of several of our teachers:
Mrs. Lopez guided her students in writing heartfelt, encouraging letters to the students at Palisades Elementary, who recently experienced the loss of their school. This project not only built a sense of compassion and community but also gave students a powerful way to practice kindness and connection.
Mrs. Greenfield has been promoting academic discourse in her classroom by using sentence frames to empower students to express their ideas and engage in meaningful discussions. This strategy helps all learners, especially those developing language skills, to find their voice and deepen their understanding.
Mrs. Howard introduced alternate gaming assessments as a creative way to evaluate learning. These assessments allow students to demonstrate their knowledge in interactive and engaging ways, catering to diverse learning styles.
These examples highlight the commitment of our teachers to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. We are grateful for their dedication to helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Thank you for your continued support as we strive to provide the best learning experience for all of our students.
