Whakapoungakau TeamA1: Ma’ata Poafa consistently has a positive approach to school. Each school day Ma’ata enthusiastically comes into class and is adored by her peers. Ma’ata has been working hard on reading, writing, and maths and has made vast progress this year. She is becoming very independent in class and working with others. A2: Sameera Nisha for being a hard working and focused learner. She is demonstrating the qualities of being an excellent Self-Regulator by being independent and organised. She pays careful attention to complete her work to a high standard of which she can be proud. Sameera’s positive and happy attitude is really enjoyed in our class and we think you are fantastic. A3: Devon Murray quietly gets on with her work and is always in the right place at the right time. She shows a high level of pride in the quality of work that she produces and she consistently challenges herself to take risks in her learning. Devon continually demonstrates a positive attitude towards learning. Ka rawe Devon, we love having a respectful, hard working student in A3.
A5: Callun Daniels had an excellent start to Term 4. Your speech was delivered with confidence, expression, and great eye contact. You are mature and sensible and a great role model for other students in the classroom. You constantly show the Glenholme School Values and it is a pleasure to have you in A5. B1: Hinerangi Timu for being a great learner in B1. You are developing great collaboration skills and can work successfully with a variety of other students in the class. You can also be relied upon to complete work independently and are always prepared to help others if needed. Ka Pai Hinerangi.
B3: Baishe Dalley-Wood for being an outstanding Collaborator like Tametekapua. Baishe is helpful to others and encourages them if they need help. He shows initiative when guiding his peers to complete their work. Baishe is a respectful member of B3 who is always willing to help. Keep up the good work Baishe!!
B5: Turongoihi Manihera-Hepi for beginning the term in a positive way. Turongoihi is a pleasure to have in the class. He is always very polite and goes out of his way to help his peers and the teacher when needed. Turongoihi is making good progress across the curriculum and it is great to see him making good choices about getting on with his work. Keep up the excellent effort Turongoihi. Well done!
B7: Himanya Singh receives this award for being a Risk Taker and Self Regulator. Himanya consistently strives to do her personal best and has built up the courage to ask for help when she is in the Learning Pit. A6: Shanaya Singh for being a fantastic role model in A6, she always shows Respect and Integrity to her teacher and her classmates. Shanaya is keen to help those around her and is a kind friend. B4: Leah Douglas has learned the school routines and always follows the school rules. She shows respect by using kind words, always helping to tidy up and sharing the toys with others in the class. Leah sets a great example to others in the class. Well done Leah!
B6: Ezra Te Kira - Nicholls for being a very cheerful, co-operative learner in B6. Ezra joins in well with all our activities, always with a happy smile on his face.
