RoBee Report
Week of September 9th
Principal Welcome!
The Importance of Safety
Dear Global Impact Academy Families,
In light of the tragedy that affected our neighbors to the East, I wanted to take some time to emphasize the importance of school safety at our school. It is of extreme importance that if your student sees something that they say something to an adult. Safety will be our continued focus in the months ahead and we greatly appreciate your partnership in this. Please feel free to reach out at anytime should you have a concern.
Educationally Yours,
Johnathan Hall

11th Grade Immunizations
Participating Remotely
There is an FCS policy around a brief remote learning opportunity parents and students may exercise (Attendance Policy / Participating Remotely). We have had a couple of parents exercise this option and want to make sure stakeholders are clear on the process and expectations regarding this practice.
- Parent should reach out to school and teachers to request remote learning
- Notification must be sent to the Data Clerk, Ms. P. White WhiteP1@fultonschools.org, to code the student correctly
- Teachers will post assignments in Canvas for the student
- Student has two days to submit the assignment
- Quizzes and Tests will be administered upon student return (No testing during remote days)
- Official attendance is based on the submission of assignments
- Teachers will communicate with Ms. P. White if the student does not submit assignments

RoBee Shoutouts!
Updated Code of Conduct 2024-2025
We have included a copy of the 2024-2025 Code of Conduct below. While we do not anticipate any issues, I want to ensure parents and students are made aware of the Designated Attendance Zone School Clause and Cell Phone which can also be found below:
Designated Attendance Zone School
Students attending a school outside of their designated attendance zone is a privilege. Any student attending a school outside of their designated attendance zone per Board policy AD School Attendance Zones who receives a long-term suspension or expulsion will lose their privilege to attend the school or program outside their designated attendance zone school. For clarity, “designated attendance zone school” refers to any school of the District a student attends other than the student’s home/zone school. This does not refer to schools/programs a student is placed into for special education services pursuant to an IEP team decision
Cell Phones/ Personal Communication Devices
Possession of Personal Communication Devices (PCD) (e.g., cell phones, tablets, recording devices) by a student at school during school hours is a privilege that will be forfeited if a student fails to abide by the Student Code of Conduct. The use of PCDs during the school day is not allowed in grades Pre-K through 5. In grades 6 through 12, the use of PCDs is not allowed during instructional time and will only be allowed when explicitly instructed to do so by a teacher or other school staff member.
***Please Note: If a student violates this rule which leads to the student’s personal communication device being confiscated by school personnel, it will only be released to the parent or guardian who must come to the school to personally retrieve the device. ***
2024-2025 Student Code of Conduct
Parents, please complete the Acknowledgement of Receipt form available in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. Instructions for completing the form are also included below for your convenience.
