Parents and guardians:
We are looking into adding some afterschool programs. Please fill out the survey below to help us determine what the needs are for you.
We are actively working on acquiring grant funding to support the programs, but are willing to explore paid options if the community is interested.
Here is the school calendar for the 25-26 year.
Elementary Highlights
Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA)
Smarter Balanced Assessments for students in grades 3-6 will take place from April 15 to May 30. Your child’s teacher will share specific testing dates soon, so please be on the lookout for that information.
To support your child’s success, we ask that students attend school during testing days. Please avoid scheduling appointments or vacations during this time. Additionally, to help students do their best, ensure they get plenty of rest each night and eat a healthy breakfast before school.
Conflict Resolution
We appreciate your partnership in helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Lately, we’ve noticed an increase in students struggling with following directions and responding respectfully to adults, which has led to more office referrals. This not only disrupts learning but can also create safety concerns when students do not follow staff directions.
We value student voice and want all children to feel heard. At the same time, it's important that they learn how to express themselves respectfully and understand the appropriate time and place for discussions. We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing these skills at home by talking with your child about positive ways to communicate, even in moments of disagreement.
Additionally, we are experiencing an increase in students trying to solve conflicts by getting physical with one another. We ask for your support in reinforcing positive problem-solving skills at home. Please talk with your child about handling disagreements with words, seeking help from an adult, and using calm strategies to resolve conflicts.
Together, we can help our students create a safe and respectful school environment.

Dear Reardan Families,
First and foremost, thank you for sharing your students with us! They are truly amazing, and we are grateful to be part of their journey. As we head into spring break, I hope you find time to rest, relax, and enjoy special moments with your family.
As we transition into spring, our district’s calendar becomes increasingly busy with sports, activities, and events. We will make every effort to over-communicate important dates and details, ensuring you stay informed. However, if you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email—we’re happy to help!
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce our first Principal Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday, April 10th, at 6:00 PM in the High School Innovation Center. We value your input and encourage you to join us as we work together to support our students and school community.

Mr. Swannack worked with Options students this week: "We spent a good portion of our time defining and understanding what Sports Marketing & Technology was. After that, students were given the task of developing a shoe brand that was of their individual interest. They were to create a slogan, design the shoe, and market it on a trifold board."
