As a reminder, on August 21 Boerne Independent School District parents and staff were sent a unique link to your email from K12 Insight to gather your input on our communication efforts. Please dedicate 15 minutes to this anonymous online survey, which will end on Sept. 4. If you do not see the survey in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder. We encourage you to be open and honest when sharing your feedback on district communications. Your support is invaluable to us, and we thank you for being an essential part of the Boerne Independent School District community.

Safety Concerns
We at the school are working as quickly as possible to help students out of their cars in the morning, however, we have also seen an increase in families arriving to drop students off beginning at 7:20. When that many vehicles arrive at one time, then no matter how quickly we are trying to get students into the building, traffic doesn't budge.
Our doors open at 7:00 to students on both sides of the school and we encourage you to take advantage of that time when there is not traffic. Our car lines trickle in between 7:00-7:20.
We understand you need to do what is best for your family. Please stay safe everyone!
FORES Traffic Flow
Our campus has 2 parking lots for families/visitors. They are designated as "Chartwell" and "Ralph Fair" side. Please click on the link below for details.
For this school year, please continue to refrain from dropping off or picking up your students on the road- Chartwell Lane. There is a Fair Oaks Ranch City Ordinance in effect that prohibits parking or standing during drop off and pickup hours. We work hard to quickly get our students loaded each day, please allow us this opportunity to help ensure the safety of our students. This has been successful the past 4 years will helping us focus on vehicles to keep traffic moving as quickly as possible.

Over-the-Counter Medications
Beginning this year, the Board of Nursing has clarified that any medications, including over-the-counter (OTC) medications such as Tylenol, cold syrups, allergy pills, etc. must have a medical provider's signature on the medication form. In the past, we have been allowed to administer OTC medications simply with parent permission/signature. This is no longer allowed. Per the Texas Nurse Practice Act, approved providers include MD, DO, APRN, PA, dentist, or podiatrist.
PE Coach - Coach Stehling
Our 2Words Gameday character trait for the month is Perseverance. Click on the link and scan the QR code to find out how you and I can work together to better develop these important character traits in our children. Thank you for allowing us to teach your children. It is our great privilege!
