This November the students are studying Gratitude as part of our PurposeFull People curriculum. As an extension of their learning, we are encouraging students and families to express a bit of gratitude for the staff at Sibley East Elementary! When you submit the form linked HERE, it will generate a certificate (example below) that we will print to give to the staff member.

Although it takes only minutes to complete the recognition form, please know your words of appreciation are some of the most treasured gifts for educators!

One way you can thank teachers for their hard work and positive impact on the lives of our children is to donate a food item to our conference night dinner!

The air definitely has a chill to it and we've had our first snowfall for the season. That being said, please be sure to check the forecast and send appropriate gear for your student (e.g. boots, snowpants, coat, gloves/mittens, hats, etc.).

Our lost and found pile is overflowing! Please remind your student to check for missing articles--we have everything from waterbottles and sweatshirts to hats and gloves.

Just a reminder that if you are dropping off your child in the morning and you are in the lane closest to the building, please do not get out of your vehicle. If your child needs assistance with unbuckling, then please park in the parking lot and escort your child to the sidewalk. Thank you!
