"LENT A HAND" FUNDRAISER

St. Patrick School is looking to "Lent a Hand" this Lenten season by raising money Lurena House which supports mothers in need. Donations of Toonies, Loonies, and loose change can be sent with your child and collected in the big green buckets in the classroom. Let's start collecting and show our school's giving spirit.

INTENTIONS FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR

In the past, St. Patrick School has sent home forms with the student for parents to fill out about their intention for the upcoming year. This year, Central Office has created a form that is on your powerschool account for you to fill out regarding next year's intentions for each of your students. Log in to your parent portal account and on the top of your home screen there is an orange banner with the form to fill out. Please click on the blue link that says ‘Next Year Intentions Information’ If you have any questions, or need assistance logging into PowerSchool, please contact the office at 780-672-2177.

This year at St.Pat's we have implemented a School Behaviour Matrix. This matrix was created by students and staff at the end of last school year on how to use our school spaces appropriately and continue to make our school an AMAZING place to learn and grow!

SCHOOL OFFICE REMINDERS

SCHOOL OFFICE HOURS

The office hours are: 8:00 - 3:30 during scheduled school days.

If calling during lunch time (12:00 - 12:30) please leave a message and Ms. Miller will return your call as soon as she can.

Remember to phone and book an appointment if you need to come into the school @ 780-672-2177. To report an absense call the school office or email stps@eics.ab.ca

PARENT VOLUNTEERS

Parents wanting to volunteer at the school or for field trips need to have a Criminal Record Check, Child Intervention Check and sign a Volunteer Confidentiality Undertaking form.

Request forms for these can be picked up at the school office. If you are unsure if you have these documents already completed you can call the office and we can check. These checks can take a while to process so if you are wanting to volunteer please get these done ASAP.

END OF DAY PHONE MESSAGES TO STUDENTS

If you have a message to pass onto your child for end of day arrangements please call the school office no later than 3:10 pm. It is very difficult to track down a child once they have left the classroom at the end of the school day.

All visitors to the school must sign in at the office.
