😎 Argyle ISD Summer Hours
If you need assistance this summer, we have provided helpful information below regarding Argyle ISD’s summer hours of operation.
The Argyle ISD Dr. Telena L. Wright Administration Building is open to the public during the summer from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. The admin building and campuses will be closed on Fridays from May 31 to July 26.
Hilltop Elementary, South Elementary, West Elementary, the Sixth Grade Center and Argyle Middle School are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday through June 6. The elementary campuses, SGC and AMS will reopen on July 24. The campuses will have limited staff available for assistance.
Argyle High School will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through June 17 and will reopen on July 17.

📍Argyle ISD Stadium & IAC Groundbreaking - June 5
It's an exciting time in Argyle ISD! Next week the district will officially break ground on the new Argyle ISD Stadium and Indoor Activity Center in Canyon Falls.
Both projects were part of the voter-approved bond propositions in 2022. The groundbreaking event will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the grass area on the east side of the AHS Fieldhouse.
Argyle ISD will hold an official groundbreaking in late June for the new middle school on FM 407. Stay tuned for more details on this event.
The stadium will be located behind the fieldhouse and utilize the turf field which is currently in place. The IAC will be located on the east side of the fieldhouse. Both projects will be constructed at the same time.
The new Argyle ISD Stadium will seat 7,500 and is expected to open in the fall of 2025. When Argyle ISD transitions to two high schools, both will utilize the stadium.
📣 Welcome New AHS Cheer Coach!
Argyle High School welcomes new Cheer Coach Diana Nolasco! She previously served as the JV Coach at AHS during the 2023-2024 school year.
Nolasco also served at Highland Park ISD as the Cheer Director/Varsity Coach from 2021-2023. Prior to joining Highland Park, Nolasco coached JV Cheer at Crandall High School from 2019-2021.
Argyle High School's Sprint Squad is coming off an 8th-place finish this year in the Class 5A state meet.

The 2nd Annual Eagle Bash Back to School Community Event is set for Saturday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at AHS!
This is a community-wide celebration to kick off the 2024-2025 school year, so be sure to mark your calendars. Come on out and meet Superintendent Dr. Courtney Carpenter, take a photo with Eddie the Eagle, and pick up some awesome swag and freebies from local businesses!
It's also a great opportunity to see your campus leadership team and learn more about bus passes and lunch accounts. Bring the whole family and join in on the fun—you won’t want to miss it!

Summertime Training: Administrators Gearing for 2024-2025!
Argyle ISD campus leaders gathered at the Argyle ISD Administation Building on Thursday for annual administrative training. While school is out for the summer, our campus and district administrators are utilizing the time for professional development and growth.
We are grateful for our campus leaders and we look forward to another exciting year in 2024-2025. We are also sending a big welcome to new Principals Shannon Knowles at Argyle High School, Dona Lumsden at Argyle Middle School and Robyn Campbell at Hilltop Elementary and Lauren Tullos at Jane Ruestmann Elementary!
AHS Band Fundraiser - Mabel's Labels!
The Argyle Band Program is fundraising with Mabel’s Labels! If you’re not familiar with Mabel’s Labels, they are personalized, durable, waterproof labels. They are great for everything from shoes, clothing tags, water bottles and backpacks. You can customize them with your name and a design, and they are dishwasher, laundry and microwave safe.
Mabel’s Labels also offers clothing stamps, silicone bands for water bottles and medical alert labels. This is a great way to ensure your items don’t end up in the lost & found or mixed up. To reduce the spread of germs, we highly recommend labeling but they are also useful for everyday life.

⚾ Region Final Showdown: Argyle vs. Grapevine
It's the final round before the state tournament. It comes down to two district rivals battling it out for a trip to the CLASS 5A State Tournament.
Argyle battles Grapevine in a Class 5A Region I Final best-of-three series starting Thursday. The series will be played at L.D. Bell High School's Nathan F. Danford Field in Hurst. The two teams split their head-to-head matchups in district play.
Argyle is coming off a sweep of Abilene Wylie. Grapevine is coming off a sweep of Lubbock Cooper.

Argyle Anglers Hook Great Season!
Argyle anglers Cameron Stanley and Tate Holt recently qualified to compete in the Texas High School Bass Association State Tournament at Lake Palestine.
Congratulations to Cameron and Tate for qualifying to compete in the state tournament and they entered the event coming off an impressive 27th-place finish at the Regional competition at Possum Kingdom. They caught eight bass totaling almost 20 pounds combined.
