Table Tennis Selfies in North K

A photo of South and North Korean athletes at the mixed table tennis doubles awards ceremony at the 2024 Paris Olympics is also drawing attention in France.

On the 31st, French daily newspaper Le Parisien called South Korea's Lim Jong-hoon and Shin Yu-bin a "historic selfie" for taking photos at the Olympic table tennis mixed doubles awards with North Korea's Lee Jung-sik and Kim Geum-yong.

Le Parisien said, "South Korea and North Korea are still tense," but added, "The photos taken by South and North Korean players on the podium together (in this state) were sensational."

South and North Korean athletes who participated in the ceremony appeared to congratulate each other by shaking hands lightly.
