NCCA Middle Cyber Connection
Hello Middle School Cyber Owls,
We have reached our first milestone of completing the first quarter of the 2024-2025 school year and moving right along into the second quarter of the school year—congratulations, Cyber Owls!
We cannot say enough how much we have appreciated your patience and endurance as we navigate the changes that have been implemented this school year with our master schedule and small groups to support academic success! As we move forward throughout the second quarter, let’s continue to keep our families and communities in Western North Carolina in our thoughts. Their strength and resilience during challenging times inspire us all.
Important Updates:
- Attendance still Matters! Please make sure that you are present and engaged in live lessons! Students who are on the Traditional Tier are required to be in attendance. Students who are on the Full Flex Tier while are not required are certainly invited to attend live lessons to support your understanding of the curriculum being taught.
- Low Performing Status Communication We are required by legislation (G.S. §115C-83.15), which was enacted during the 2013 North Carolina General Assembly session to notify you of our school performance. Please find linked a copy of this communication from the NC Cyber Academy Middle School.
Fall Parent Conferences These conferences are an opportunity for teachers and families to discuss student progress, iReady/benchmark scores, course specific questions, and any other questions/concerns. In order to schedule a conference with a teacher, you will use their booking links provided to you directly from the teacher. Please note, that If the desired teacher does not have an available time that works for your schedule, reach out directly to the teacher for additional meeting time options. We look forward to meeting with you and sharing the great things we have seen thus far!
