Canned Food Drive
We are very excited to announce that Longmont Estates Elementary will once again participate, with other schools in the district, in our Annual Food Drive. In the past we have collected close to 40,000 pounds of food district wide and we hope to exceed that number this year. LEE's annual food drive is December 2nd-December 17th. All the food collected will benefit the Longmont OUR Center. There are many families in need in our area, and this food will benefit them. Please help out, if you can!!
The Giving Tree
Longmont Estates will be organizing its annual Giving Tree, a tradition that brings our community together. Throughout the month of December, we will have a tree in the entryway, decorated with anonymous ornaments. These ornaments represent the wishes of families within the LEE community.
If you are in need of assistance to provide gifts for children this holiday season, we invite you to visit our office and pick up a gift request form. Please rest assured that all information provided will be kept confidential. If you have children outside of the LEE community, whether older or younger, we welcome your requests for additional gift forms. Please return the completed forms to the front office by Friday, December 6th.
For those who would like to contribute to this heartwarming tradition, you (or your child with your permission) can select an ornament from the tree and purchase the items listed on it. We kindly request that all gifts be returned to our front office no later than NOON on Tuesday, December 17th. To make the process easier, we kindly ask that the gifts are wrapped and the ornament tag is securely taped to the outside of the package. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for being a part of our Giving Tree tradition!
