Tadlock Elementary

Due to the potential for freezing weather and high winds tomorrow morning, we will be moving our Boosterthon Fun Run inside. We will have a glow run inside in the gym with one grade level at a time, so the schedule will be changed from what was previously sent out.

Kids will be provided a t-shirt to wear for the run and a sticker will be placed on the back for us to mark laps. Please be sure to send your child to school in comfortable shoes, so they can run, jog or walk easily. To ensure kids do not slip on water spills in the gym, we will not be bringing water inside the gym, but students can access water before or after the run. Parents may want to send their child with a water bottle to keep in the classroom, and students can always access water fountains.

Parents are welcome to attend to help mark laps or cheer on their child and will need to sign in and out in the office. Thank you for being patient as it may take a few minutes to sign in and out. Be sure to bring your driver’s license with you to scan through the system if you haven’t already done so this year.

Here’s the schedule for the Boosterthon Fun Run:

• Kindergarten 8-8:45
  
• 1st grade 8:45-9:30
  
• 2nd grade 9:35-10:20
  
• 3rd grade 10:20-11:05
  
• 4th grade 11:05-11:50
  
• 5th grade 11:50-12:35
  

We also have a PTA sponsored BMX assembly that is scheduled to be held outside behind POD1/2, and it should be warmer by the afternoon. We will monitor the winds and make a decision if it needs to be rescheduled. In the event we do have students go outside in the afternoon or for recess, please make sure your child comes to school with a jacket or some type of extra layer of clothing tomorrow. It’s also a great idea to mark their names inside their outerwear as it helps us find the owner if it ends up in lost and found.
