KES Family Newsletter

Just like that, our last month of the 2023-2024 school year is here! We hope that all our KES families are looking forward to all the fun activities that spring brings with it! As the weather warms up and the flowers and trees bloom, we are excited to celebrate all the growth our KES students have made this year with some fun and exciting events to end our school year. Keep reading this edition of our KES Family Newsletter to learn about our exciting year-end field trips, activities, and other important dates and information!

National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10 and we are making a special effort this year to express appreciation to our teachers and staff. As we plan for a wonderful appreciation week, we would love to get our parents and families involved. Here are a few ways you can help us:

• We are trying to collect short, heartfelt notes for all our teachers and would love as many as possible. If you would like to create a short message of appreciation to a teacher, write it on a note card or lined paper and deliver it to the office. We plan to deliver these to teachers throughout the week to brighten their day!
• We also plan to give out prizes throughout the week. We have creative ideas and special privileges planned for prizes, but we also need gift cards. If you would like to donate one or two, in any amount, please sign up using this gift card donation link, then drop them off at the office as soon as possible, or email any e-gift cards to jcampbell@kingstonk12.org.

We are excited to announce that our final Family Engagement Night of the year is scheduled for Thursday, May 16th. Please see the attached graphic for more info. We hope to see you there!

Teacher Request forms for the 2024-2025 school year are due by Monday, May 20th. If you would like your request to be considered when next year's class lists are made, please have your form turned into the office by this date. If you are in need of a request form, they are available in the front office, or on page 22 of your student's planner.
