WMHS Weekly Information
October 28 - November 1
From the Principal's Desk
Zebra Nation,
I hope that you had a great weekend!
The 1st Quarter is in the books. On to the 2nd Quarter and the month of November. The 2nd Quarter time period will go much faster as we have several breaks built in. Students - please remember, that your 1st Quarter Grade combines with your 2nd Quarter Grade and Exam to average out your 1st Semester Grade, which is the Grade that goes on your Transcript. So, either keep those Grades up high, or dig in and get to work on raising those Grades! You got this. We got you.
Reminder #1 -
As the weather begins to change and the temperature drops, our scholars will 'bundle up' to stay warm each day. Please note, that our policy of no hoods on heads and no full face coverings inside WMHS is still on.... The WMHS Administrative Team needs to be able to identify everyone inside the building at all times. This is for the safety of the building (staff, students, and guests). Parents/Guardians - please speak to your scholar about this policy. For the scholars that continuously break this policy where we are repeat asking them to remove a face covering and/or take the hood off their head, they will be placed in our ISS room and then progress to an OSS from school. Again, this is for the safety of the WMHS Building.
#StrongerTogether
Reminder #2 -
Bathroom issues - recently, we have had another uptick with bathrooms issues at WMHS with graffiti on the walls, toilets and sinks getting broken, handles on faucets getting broken, and vaping. Please speak to your scholar about this: 1.) To not take part in those things, and/or 2.) Report it to an adult if they see anything like that happening in the bathroom, so that we can take action.
#StrongerTogether
Have a great week!
