A message from Mr. Houston, President of the Anniston City Schools' Board of Education.
Dear Anniston Team,
On behalf of the Anniston City Board of Education, I extend my heartfelt congratulations for the spectacular improvements in the state assessment scores.
This past Sunday, Dr. Eric Mackey, Alabama State Superintendent, highlighted the schools with the most significant improvements at our AASB Summer Conference.
Annistion's 28% improvement has placed it among the top twelve schools in the state. As I always emphasize, something extraordinary is happening within the Anniston School System; it transcends human understanding. It is indeed an honor for me to be a part of it. Bull Dawgs not only lead the way, they discover a new way when it seems there is no way. Don't pay attention to what people say about the Anniston City School System. Instead, believe what you see.
