A MESSAGE FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
I hope this letter finds you well and that you had a joyous holiday season with your loved ones. As we embark on a new year filled with promise and potential, I am excited to share some updates and plans regarding our athletic program at Linden High school.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support of our student-athletes and the entire athletic department. Your encouragement and involvement play a crucial role in fostering a positive and successful environment for our young athletes to thrive. Your assistance with concessions is much appreciated.
As we enter 2025, I am filled with enthusiasm for the upcoming challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for our student-athletes. Our coaching staff has been working diligently during the break to plan and strategize for the remainder of the school year. We are committed to providing and enriching and supportive athletic experience that not only focuses on skill but also emphasizes the importance of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.
It is our collective goal to create an inclusive and positive atmosphere where every student-athlete feels supported and motivated to reach their full potential. We appreciate your ongoing commitment to our athletic community and look forward to a successful an rewarding year ahead.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
The Varsity Girls Basketball team spent their Saturday shopping and wrapping gifts for 4 children sponsored through Angel Tree. Thanks to them, four children are receiving presents for Christmas who otherwise wouldn’t.
GYMNASTICS
The Linden/Fenton/Lake Fenton (LFLF) gymnastics team competed at the Holt invite on December 7th. They took first place as a team, as well as had some individual highlights.
From Linden, Mia Brown, Alida Smith, and Neveah Hatfield competed. All three girls competed on vault and earned regional qualifying scores.
From Fenton, Clare Hunter, Sophia Markley, and Molly Dixon competed. Sophia secured first place on floor while Molly placed in both the all around and on vault. Clare had 3 scores that went towards the team win.
From Lake Fenton Keira Sadler and Dayne Stucky competed. Keira’s highlights were her first place in the all around as well as on bar. Dayne placed 4th on bar and also competed on beam.
The girls are currently 7-1 on the season with their loss coming at the 20 team, Jeanne Caruss Invitational. The girls finished 3rd which has been their best finish ever. Great job girls!

LINDEN'S ATHLETIC TOUCH SCREEN/TROPHY CASE LOOKS GREAT
The Linden Athletic Department invites everyone to explore our new Touch Screen. Although it is a work in progress you can enjoy our digital HALL OF FAME now. All updates are expected to be finalized in June. Our new trophy case is beginning to fill up fast. Go Eagles!
