Loveland Tiger Families,

We’re almost ready to start the new school year! Our staff will be busy the first few days of the week to prepare for students and kick off a great year.

We have a staggered start again this school year. The first day of school for students with last names beginning with A-L (grades 1-12) is Wednesday, August 14. The first day of school for students with last names beginning with M-Z (grades 1-12) is Thursday, August 15. The staggered start allows teachers and students to get technology set up, work through problems, and establish new routines in smaller groups.

Follow this link to our website for information about fees, forms, bus routes, and more. We’ve tried to answer many of your common back-to-school questions in one place.

After 38 years in education, I still get excited about starting a new school year. It’s been great to see students and families back in our buildings over the last few days for open houses and orientation events. I know our staff is fired up to get the year started.

I hope you’ve had a great summer to rest and relax with family and friends. Let’s have a great 2024-25 school year!

If you have questions, you can always reach me at mikebroadwater@lovelandschools.org.

Go Tigers!

Join the Community Advisory Team Join the Community Advisory Team

We are creating a district Community Advisory Team (CAT) to provide more avenues for feedback and meaningful conversations. The primary mission of the Community Advisory Team is to advise district leadership on key priorities and issues facing the district. Members of the CAT will strive to offer informed suggestions to help the district reach the goals of the #beLOVEland Strategic Vision: Student Success, Collaborative Culture, Community Engagement, and Fiscal Responsibility.

There will be four meetings throughout the school year:

  • Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.

The Community Advisory Team is open to district residents, parents, students, and staff who are passionate about education and making a difference. If you want to join the Community Advisory Team for the 24-25 school year, please apply by following this link to complete a brief Google Form. Applications will be accepted through August 30, 2024.
