Trench warfare was when soldiers dug out trenches (like ditches). The trenches were dirty, had lice, rats, and diseases.
Lusitania
The Lusitania was a British ship and the fastest ship built of that time. The Lusitania was sunk May 7, 1915. It took 20 minutes to sink. 1,198 people drowned when the Lusitania was sunk and 128 Americans died.
