Roo Pride
General Information:
There will be some events involving water. Students should bring a towel and an extra change of clothes. Students should wear TENNIS Shoes, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses. No Swimsuits, Please. Show your Roo Pride and wear your PTA Roo shirt!!!
Water bottles might want to be made available for students. Classes should make arrangements to have an ice chest or box to carry around with them.
Teachers please work out individual breaks within grade level. You deserve a break!
Field Day Instructions:
We will begin with all grade levels gathered outside the cafeteria for our opening ceremony, this is will start at 9:50 or right after Roo Walk.
Session 1 10:00-11:30
Lunch 11:30-12:30
Session 2 12:30-1:30
Each grade level will begin at a designated zone, each zone will last 30 minutes. In the zone kids can choose what game or games they would like to play, they can play 1 game for the entire 30 minutes or play each game in the zone.
Lunch will begin at 11:30. Your class may choose to have a picnic on the grounds or a picnic in your classroom. Lunch will be 1 hour long.

Winkleman, Merghart, Whisenhunt, Whitman and Dale will have radios.
Water and bathroom breaks are scheduled at snack stations. Please feel free to send children to the bathroom when needed with a 5th grader.
Without your help and cooperation I would never be able to pull this off! Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I hope this day will be as much fun for you as it is for the kids.
