We are excited to debut new furniture for the Izzo-Mariucci Center commons in time for basketball season!

Our students are already enjoying the new seating options!

North Elementary School raised 1,736 items for the TV6 Can-A-Thon! AMAZING! Great work, everyone! Thank you to those who were able to donate! Congratulations to Ms. Spencer's class, who raised 313 items together!

We had a great turnout for our Safe Routes for School survey! Thank you to all that participated and helped us with this critical first step in our grant!

We are thankful for our amazing community and staff. Last week, we delivered meals to families with the Mountaineer Mobile that could use a little extra help this holiday season. We could not have done it without the help from our local Walmart Iron Mountain and Tadych's Marketplace Foods! Thank you, Walmart and Tadych's for your generous donations and happy holidays to everyone!

Central Middle School feasted Tuesday afternoon at the annual Middle School Thanksgiving Feast. Thank you to all of those who donated to this amazing event and to Mr. Phil Zollner for preparing the meal! Thank you to the high school volunteers who served, and thank you to the Middle School Student Council advisors who made this event happen, Mrs. Nattiel and Mrs. Peddycord!

Thank you to the #MountaineerVolunteers who made the North Elementary School Thanksgiving Feast a success! We have the best Iron Mountain family.

Congratulations to our students at Central Middle School and Iron Mountain High School for making Honor Roll for the first marking period! Well done!

The School Store will be open Thursday, December 5th and the PTO will be accepting both cash and receipts.

Also, the PTO is excited to offer a guy and girl premade gift bag for the kids! This way they can still shop for someone special in their lives! The girl will consist of candles, fuzzy socks and a few surprises while the guy option will contain some working gloves, a tape measure and more. These bags will be premade and $10.

(Note: NFHS will still be used for MHSAA tournaments)

Streaming prices are as follows:

$5.00/sporting event

$20.00/season/sport (all levels included)

$60.00/year (All broadcasted sports: Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Soccer)

(Procedures for securing and cashing scholarship checks)

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to adhere to the following time

frame when securing their scholarship checks if possible. Parents may also secure checks, as long as they have all required documentation.

Winter checks will be distributed from

December 18-20, 2024 (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

December 30, 2024 (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

January 6-8, 2025 (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Checks must be cashed within 60 days

NOTE: First time scholarship recipients picking up their winter payment

MUST bring in a college transcript indicating credits and GPA earned. This

will be the procedure from this time forward. NO payments will be given

out without a college transcript showing all required information.

ALSO, YOU WILL NO LONGER HAVE COMPUTER ACCESS AT THE HIGH

SCHOOL SO PRINT YOUR TRANSCRIPT BEFORE COMING FOR YOUR

PAYMENT.
