What's Happening for Red Ribbon Week
Monday, October 23rd: “Be Kind to your Mind, Live Drug Free”
· Students will wear red.
· The kids will autograph a poster located either in the front hall or in the cafeteria
committing to be drug free.
· They will be given a drug-free red bracelet to wear for the day.
Tuesday, October 24th: “Too Bright for Drugs”
· The kids will wear “neon colored” clothes.
· They will be given a pair of shades to wear throughout the day.
Wednesday, October 25th: “Sock it to Drugs”
· The kids may wear crazy socks for this day.
· HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS ON VIRTUAL DAY.
Thursday, October 26th: “Put a Cap on Drugs”
· The students can wear their favorite hats.
· In the morning, all the kids will be treated to a donut.
Friday, October 27th: “I Mustache you not to do Drugs”
· The kids will be given a fake mustache to wear around the school for the day.
· We will also pass out a plastic “tumbler” with a drug free sticker posted on each one for them to take home.
OPTIONAL:
· The classes may decorate their doors in honor of Red Ribbon Week.
· Invite any child to participate in the “drug free” poster contest.
