Dear Bear Creek Families,

What a wonderful week for student success. This week I was able to recognize 15 2nd and 3rd grade student identified as a National Math Star. This organization recognized excellence in Mathematics in student that show performance in the top 1% of district on Middle of Year MAP Math testing. Bear Creek had the highest percentage per capita out of all AISD schools! I was not able to get everyone picture this week. Stay tuned for a photo.

Yashas Katar - Tens of thousands of students across Texas participated in the reflections program statewide to share what the 2024-25 reflections theme, Accepting Imperfection, meant to them. It was truly inspiring to have this small glimpse into their hearts, lives and the lives of others around them. Only two percent of those entries advanced to the state level judging, and your entry was among the one percent receiving an award from Texas PTA. This is an outstanding achievement!" Yashas received an "Honorable Mention" award for his poem. He was presented a letter from Texas PTA president, a bronze medallion and recognition on Texas PTA website.
