St Clement Catholic School
June 2024 Newsletter
Principal's Message
It is hard to believe that June has arrived, and the school year is almost over! For staff and students, this year has been full of learning, laughter and joy. With longer days and nicer weather, we are all tempted to go into ‘Summer Holiday’ mode, but we need to be mindful that this has a very negative impact on students’ learning. We still have an entire month of learning left and to focus on academics right up to the end.
In June we will be bidding farewell to the Grade 8 students as they move on to high school. Sadly, we will also be saying goodbye to our families who will be leaving our St. Clement school family. We wish you the very best and please know you will be greatly missed.
We will also be saying good-bye to three staff members who are retiring. Ms. Carrie, Ms. Reed, Mrs. Hooper and Mr. Randy will leave a lasting impact on our St. Clement family. We wish them well in the next chapter of their lives!
On behalf of the staff and students, a BIG HAPPY Father’s DAY to all Dads on June 16th. May God continue to bless you and guide you in all that you do for your families.
Please check out our School Website: stclement@gpcsd.ca , or follow us on Facebook, as we are adding information and pictures on a regular basis, and they are excellent communication tools for our school community.
It has been a blessing to watch your children grow academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. Thank you to the hard working and dedicated staff and all parents for working as a team. Thank you, parents, for supporting your child’s learning needs and our school. We especially thank our School Council for continuing to volunteer their time and energy to give our students experiences and opportunities at St. Clement School. We pray for continued support in the up-coming year.
We thank our staff, students, and you, our parents for the unbelievable support you have shown. Without your support learning could not happen. Together we have grown in our faith, in our learning and as a school community this year. May the light of Christ shine through you and be that light to others. God bless you and your family with a safe, fun filled and restful summer. We hope to see you all refreshed and ready for September!
God Bless,
Jennifer Sietsma
