Mark your calendars because the big day is just around the corner! As we dust off our backpacks and sharpen our pencils, it brings me immense joy to say - WELCOME BACK! We hope you've had a fantastic summer filled with laughter, adventures, and cherished memories. Our campuses will come alive with laughter, curiosity, and the sound of eager footsteps as we embark on a new journey together.

What's new in the calendar?

We have added scheduled Districtwide Shortened Professional Development (PD) days. On these specific days, dismissal for TK-8 will be at 11:30am. The shortened PD days are listed below:

• September 11 - 13 (dismissal at 11:30am)
• October 16-18 (dismissal at 11:30am)

Are you or someone you know looking to pursue a career in education? Do you want to be more involved in your student's district? As we prepare for the start of the 2023-2024 school year, there are many job openings available at EMCSD! We have listed a few below. You can also see more on the graphics above.

Head to the El Monte Community Center located at 3130 Tyler Ave, El Monte to get your back-to-school resources!

The fair will be on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 8:00am - 11:00am. Festivities include: Healthy family expo and entertainment. Supplies are limited.
