Important Renewal Information
It's that time of year again to renew your EPO application for next school year. This will be done in FOCUS again beginning today, November 15th. Please see this link for directions on how to complete your renewal application. https://bit.ly/ELOEPORENEWAL
Below is a short version of the steps you will complete.
1. Log in to FOCUS.
2. Select your child's name.
3. Select Forms Summary under Forms on the left.
4. Under Available Forms select ELO/EPO RENEWAL FORM
5. Complete the form, click to sign, submit and finish.

New Morning Traffic Patterns
Parent Hours
As we get closer to second semester, parent hour log sheets are starting to roll in. I just ask if you have box tops, PLEASE attach a copy of the money amount you have earned off of the box tops as that is the verification needed for them to be signed off on.
Hurricane make up days
Makeup Days: We are operating full school days on the following dates:
- Monday, February 17, 2025, will be a full school day. This was originally scheduled as a Student Holiday/Teacher Professional Development Day.
- Friday, April 18, 2025, will be a full school day. This date was originally scheduled as a Holiday for All.
Testing
- All Dual Enrollment/FLVS Off-Campus students are required to check-in with the front office upon arrival on campus. This includes arrivals during power hour.
- Make-up Testing for PM2-ELA will take place on Tuesday 1/14/25 in Portable 5 starting at 8:30AM
- Make-up Testing for PM2-7th Grade Math will take place on Wednesday 1/15/25 in Portable 5 starting at 8:30AM
Media Center
The Media Center Collaboration room is getting a makeover! For his Eagle Scout Rank Project, Thomas Nagy is updating the space to include new whiteboards, a literature mural, and a greenscreen wall. This can't happen without support - parent donations are needed to make it happen. Donations should be returned to the front office, labeled "Media Center Workroom", by or before January 31st.

Athletics
Attention Athletes and Parents: Athletic Clearances for the 2024-2025 school year will open on 6/1. All new physicals must be on forms dated 4/24. Remember that physicals are good for 365 days after the doctor’s exam, but all county and district forms need to be signed every school year. Instructions for clearances are here.

In preparation for our upcoming competition on February 8th at NASA, MATHCOUNTS will meet every Thursday during Power Hour B
Middle School Track
Middle School Track will have its first practice on Tuesday, 1/21 after school until 4:30. The season will run (pun intended) from 1/21-2/28. Practices are Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm. Please contact Coach Muir, Coach Flint, Coach Snyder or Coach Cofer if you have any questions."

Dear Edgewood Families,
Please join us on Friday, January 17th from 4-10pm at NITRO (225 N. Sykes Creek Pkwy) for our first Spirit Night of the semester. Tell them you are with Edgewood and you’ll help us earn 15% of the evening’s proceeds as well as earn 2 parent volunteer hours.
If you are in need of additional parent volunteer hours, sign up on the attached Sign Up Genius (SUG) to donate to our spring Staff Snack Bars.
We are also happy to announce that the OUTDOOR SEATING has arrived! We will need assistance disassembling and removing our current tables and assembling our new ones on January 25th. Please be on the lookout for an upcoming SUG - this will be an exciting and important parent volunteer opportunity.
Project Graduation 2025
